Tenant referral – Terms and Conditions

To be eligible to the Tenant referral program, a tenant must: a) be a Canadian resident who has reached the age of majority in their province of residence at the time of form submission; b) respect all the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions; and c) provide Building Stack with all the required information by filling the tenant referral form available on Building Stack’s website (the “Form”) (an “Eligible Tenant”). By submitting the Form, the Eligible Tenant certifies that the information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge. If the landlord or property manager whose information was provided through the Form (the “Landlord”) signs a paid contract of at least one (1) year with Building Stack within six (6) months of Form submission, the Eligible Tenant will be entitled to the smallest amount between: a) the equivalent of one (1) month’s rent as per the Eligible Tenant’s lease with the Landlord; b) the equivalent of three (3) months’ membership payments as per the Landlord’s contract with Building Stack; or c) $500 CAD. The incentive amount will be paid to the Eligible Tenant by Building Stack via electronic transfer, rent discount or any other means of payment, at Building Stack’s sole discretion, after the Landlord has made their first contract payment. A valid lease or other proof of rent amount and tenant status may be requested. The Eligible Tenant’s contact information must match the information on file in the Landlord’s Building Stack account. The Landlord must not be an existing or returning Building Stack client. Limit of one (1) referral incentive per signed contract. If multiple referrals are submitted for the same Landlord, the earliest submission as per the Form’s timestamp will be deemed valid. Other restrictions may apply. Building Stack may change or cancel the program without notice, at its sole discretion.
